Made from pure glass, it is foamed in a high-temperature tunnel kiln with an appropriate amount of foaming agent, followed by annealing and cooling. It exhibits excellent chemical stability, corrosion resistance, UV resistance, and thermal radiation resistance. It resists decomposition at high temperatures and deteriorates at low temperatures. It also boasts high mechanical strength and is easy to process and cut into various shapes. It also boasts a long service life and resists weathering and aging. Due to its excellent physical and chemical properties, foam glass is widely used in the petrochemical, power, and defense, as well as in factorydecoration.
